14th International Conference on Crystal Growth and 12th International Conference on Vapor Growth and Epitaxy

In August, 2004, Grenoble is going to welcome about 1200 scientists and manufacturers of the whole world for the 14th international conference on Crystal growth and the 12th international conference of growth on vapor growth and epitaxy. Associated to the 11th summer school which will take place in Berlin the previous week, it is organized under the aegis of the International Organization of Crystal Growth (IOCG), by the GFCC and the DGKK.

The objective of the conference is to get together, at the world level, the scientists, researchers and manufacturers interested in theoretical or applied aspects relative to the growth of crystals. The discussions and presentations are organized in the form of general and thematic sessions (Oral sessions and Poster sessions). The sessions include:
- Theories and experiments on the fundamental aspects of the Crystals growth.
- Growth of bulk crystals.
- Crystals of oxides and fluorides.
- Semi conducting Crystals.
- Thin Coatings and epitaxial growth.
- Surfaces and interfaces.
- Industrial Crystallization, haste in the chemical industry.
- Crystallization of proteins and biologic substances.
- Structural, physical and chemical characterization of crystals.
- Engineering of the Crystal Growth and technological aspects.
- Simulation of the growth phenomena and processes.
- Nano-matérials.
