Markets
HexaTech develops and sells AlN wafers, and AlN-based devices in the following applications areas:
Ultraviolet lasers, LEDs, and detectors: sterilization and disinfection devices, compact analytical devices for biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, high-density optical data storage, high-resolution printers, chemical and bioagent detection.
Power conversion devices: high performance Schottky diodes and HEMT devices for highly efficient energy conversion in applications such as hybrid vehicles, electricity generation via solar cell and electricity generation via wind.
High-power, high-frequency electronic devices: high power µ-wave and
surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices for wireless communications, mm-wave and THz devices for future communication needs.
